To Make This Edible Playdough You Will Need:
- 1 cup whipped vanilla frosting
- 2 ¾ cups powdered sugar
- Food coloring, various colors
In a large bowl stir and combine the vanilla frosting and the powdered sugar together.
As it comes together and gets a little tough to stir, take it out of the bowl and begin to knead the dough, maybe add a little powdered sugar to the bench top so it doesn’t stick. If the dough is too sticky, add in more powdered sugar until it reaches the desired consistency.
If you are coloring the dough, divide it into as many sections as colors you are using, add a few drops at a time and then knead the color into the dough, keep adding color until you get the desired color. Now let your kids have fun playing with their food! And when they are done, they can eat their creations! Yum!
But be warned it is made from frosting and powdered sugar so maybe a little sweet for some.

- if you want to make it less sweet use cream cheese frosting instead
- add in some spices like cinnamon or nutmeg for a different flavor, then they will be great for Thanksgiving and Halloween.
- Funfetti playdough would be fun, just keeping the playdough white and adding sprinkles, just remember after the kids play with it for a while the sprinkles will all blend together and it may go rainbow colored.
- Throw in some chocolate chips or sprinkles for an extra special treat! I guess this play dough will not last very long as the kids will want to eat it straight away.
