Fall Trivia
Fall Trivia: Fun Questions to Celebrate the Season!
Oh, fall. That crisp breeze, the smell of cinnamon in the air, and the return of fuzzy socks there’s just something comforting about this season, isn’t there? Whether you’re cozied up with a warm drink or gathering friends and family for a little seasonal fun, Fall Trivia is one of my favorite ways to add laughter and learning to any autumn get-together.

Over the years, I’ve played all kinds of trivia games with my own family (including a few competitive teens and a husband who thinks he knows everything about pumpkins). And let me tell you when the questions start flying, so does the laughter. It’s an easy, low-prep activity that gets everyone involved, no screens required.
In this post, I’m sharing a big batch of fall-themed trivia questions, plus a few ideas for how to turn them into a full-blown party game. Whether you’re planning a cozy night in, a classroom activity, or a fall festival, this trivia is a fun and simple way to bring people together.
How to Play Fall Trivia
Let’s keep it simple, because life is already busy enough, right?
You’ll Need:
- A printed list of trivia questions or use the ones below
- A pen and paper for each player or team
- Optional: mini prizes (think candy corn bags, fall candles, or just bragging rights!)
How to Set It Up:
- Split into teams if you’ve got a big group (2–5 people per team is perfect).
- One person (you, maybe?) plays the host and reads each question aloud.
- Teams write down their answers. You can do one round of 10–15 questions at a time.
- After each round, go over the answers and tally the scores.
- Award a small prize or do a silly fall-themed challenge for the winners apple bobbing, anyone?
If you’re playing with kids, feel free to throw in some easier questions or mix in some fall-themed charades between rounds. Keep the energy light and fun.

Tips for Making It Extra Fun
Here’s what I’ve found works best to make trivia night a memorable experience:
- Theme it out – Ask everyone to wear flannel or cozy socks, or hand out mini pumpkins as name cards.
- Serve snacks – Think apple slices with caramel dip, popcorn, warm cider, or pumpkin-shaped cookies.
- Play in rounds – Keep the energy up with little breaks between each set of questions.
- Mix it up – Add a bonus round with silly physical challenges or riddles!
- End with a group photo – It might feel cheesy, but these are the moments you’ll want to look back on.
Look, we all know life moves fast. And in the chaos of school runs, work deadlines, and laundry piles (oh, the laundry…), it’s easy to forget how important it is to pause and play. A cozy evening with some laughs, a few questions, and maybe a pumpkin treat or two? That’s the good stuff.
So whether you’re hosting a harvest party, putting together a classroom activity, or just looking for something screen-free to do with the kids on a rainy fall afternoon, I hope this trivia adds a little extra joy to your season.
Happy Fall, friends
