All About Me Pages
All About Me Printables for Kids
Back-to-school season always seems to arrive before we know it. One minute everyone is enjoying slower mornings and summer fun, and the next we are labeling school supplies, finding lunchboxes, checking whether last year’s shoes still fit, and wondering how another school year came around quite so quickly!
Whether your kids are heading back to school, starting homeschool for the year, or beginning a new class or activity, All About Me printables are such a fun way to mark the occasion.
I love activities like these because they are incredibly simple, but they can tell you so much about a child. Ask a child their favorite color, what they want to be when they grow up, their favorite food, or something they are really good at, and you never quite know what answer you are going to get.
Even better, save the page and ask them the same questions next year. That is when these simple worksheets become really special.
All About Me worksheets are also brilliant for teachers. They work as first-day-of-school activities, classroom icebreakers, early finisher activities, bulletin board displays, and easy ways to help children get to know one another.
And they aren’t only for school. You can use them at home, with homeschool groups, church groups, Scouts, clubs, birthday parties, family reunions, and anywhere you have a group of kids who could use a fun way to introduce themselves.
Here are some of my favorite All About Me printables for kids, along with plenty of ideas for using them.

All About Me Questionnaire
Sometimes kids aren’t quite sure what to say when you ask, “Tell me about yourself.”
Ask them what their favorite snack is, though, and suddenly they have plenty to say!
This All About Me Questionnaire is a fun way to get kids thinking and talking about the things they enjoy. Questions about favorites and interests make it easy for children to share little pieces of their personality without the activity feeling too serious.
This is a great one to use during the first week back at school. Children can fill it out independently or younger kids can work through the questions with an adult.
Teachers can then use some of the answers to help children find common interests.
Maybe three kids love soccer. Two children are obsessed with horses. Half the class has pizza listed as their favorite food. Suddenly there are lots of little conversation starters that can help new friendships begin.
I also love the idea of filling one out at the beginning of every school year and keeping them. Kids change so quickly, and the answers that seem perfectly ordinary today may be absolutely hilarious in a few years.

All About Me Page
A classic All About Me Page is one of those easy activities that you can use in so many different ways.
For school, it is perfect for those first few days when teachers need activities that are fun but don’t require children to already know a particular lesson or skill.
Everyone is an expert on themselves!
Children can work on their page while the teacher is organizing supplies, learning names, explaining classroom routines, or helping everyone settle in.
Once the pages are complete, don’t put them straight into a folder. Turn them into a classroom display.
Add a heading such as Meet Our Class or All About Us and display everyone’s page on a bulletin board. Kids will naturally stop and read each other’s answers, which gives them another opportunity to discover things they have in common.
You could also have each child draw a self-portrait to display beside their page.
At home, this is a lovely first-day-of-school tradition too. Have your child complete their page, take your usual first-day photo, and keep both together as a little record of that year.

All About Me Reflection Worksheets
As kids get a little older, an All About Me activity can go beyond favorite foods and colors.
These All About Me Reflection Worksheets encourage kids to stop and think about themselves, their experiences, strengths, goals, and the things that matter to them.
The start of a school year is actually a lovely time for this.
A new year feels like a fresh beginning. Kids have a new teacher, new classroom, different subjects, and sometimes completely new classmates. Giving them some quiet time to think about what they would like from the year can be really valuable.
- What are they proud of?
- What would they like to get better at?
- Is there something new they would love to learn?
- What are they looking forward to?
You don’t need to make this feel like another school assignment either. Let kids take their time and answer honestly.
These reflection worksheets can also be useful throughout the year. Try one at the beginning of school, another around the middle of the year, and another toward the end.
It can be really interesting for kids to look back and see how their thoughts and goals have changed.

All About Me Coloring Pages
For younger kids, sometimes the best activity involves far fewer words and many more crayons.
These All About Me Pages give children a creative way to share a little about themselves while enjoying some coloring time too.
This can be particularly helpful during the first few days of school when some children might feel shy or unsure. Sitting down with crayons or colored pencils gives them something familiar and relaxing to do.
There is no pressure to stand in front of the class and introduce themselves. They can simply work on their page and let their personality show through their choices.
These pages are also handy to have at home. Print them for a rainy afternoon, a quiet homeschool activity, or simply because your child is in the mood to color.
And please don’t worry about making everything perfect.
Purple hair? Fantastic.
A bright green dog? Why not?
The whole point is to let kids have fun and make their page their own.

First Day of School All About Me Activity
If you’re looking for a simple first day of school activity, this is one you can prepare ahead of time without much fuss.
Place an All About Me worksheet on each desk before children arrive along with pencils, crayons, or colored pencils. As everyone enters the classroom, they immediately have something to do.
This can make those first few minutes feel much less awkward, particularly for children who are nervous. Rather than sitting quietly wondering who to talk to, they have an activity they can start straight away. Once everyone has settled in, you can use their answers for a few easy getting-to-know-you games.
Find Someone Who…
Once the All About Me pages are completed, turn the answers into a quick classroom game.
Ask children to move around the room and find someone who shares one of their answers.
For example:
- Find someone who has the same favorite color as you.
- Find someone who likes the same animal.
- Find someone who enjoys the same sport.
- Find someone who loves the same food.
- Find someone who has the same favorite school subject.
This takes a simple worksheet and turns it into a social activity without requiring complicated preparation.
It is also a nice way to mix up the class so children aren’t only talking to friends they already know.
Make an All About Me Classroom Book
This is such a cute idea, especially for younger elementary classes.
Have every child complete an All About Me page and then put them together into one big Our Class book.
- Keep the book somewhere children can easily reach it during quiet reading time.
- Kids will love flipping through it and reading about their classmates.
- You could even add a photograph or self-portrait beside each child’s worksheet.
- At the end of the school year, take the book apart and send each page home as a keepsake.
Create an All About Me Bulletin Board
If your classroom walls are looking a little bare at the beginning of the year, your students can help decorate them!
Use completed worksheets to create an easy All About Me bulletin board.
Some fun headings could include:
- Meet Our Amazing Class
- All About Us
- Look Who’s in Our Class
- We Are One Awesome Class
- Meet the Kids in Room
Add each child’s worksheet and perhaps a self-portrait or first-day photograph.
It is simple, colorful, personal, and best of all, you don’t need to spend hours creating every part of the display yourself.
Use Them as a Yearly Keepsake
This might be my favorite way to use All About Me worksheets.
Have your child complete one every year.
Write their age, grade, and the date on the page and then tuck it away somewhere safe.
Over time, you will build up a little snapshot of who they were at each age. And whatever you do, don’t correct those wonderfully funny childhood answers! If your six-year-old says they want to be a dinosaur when they grow up, leave it there. If their favorite food is “anything except peas,” keep it. If they spell spaghetti in a way that requires serious detective work, resist the urge to fix it.
Those are the little details that make childhood keepsakes so precious.
All About Me Ideas for Homeschool
Back to school looks different for every family, and homeschoolers can absolutely join in with the fun.
You can create your own first-day-of-homeschool tradition with an All About Me worksheet.
Set out some new pencils or markers, make a special breakfast, take a first-day photo, and let your child fill in their page. You could then add it to their homeschool portfolio. At the end of the year, complete another one and compare the two.
Along with being a fun activity, reflection worksheets can work nicely when setting homeschool goals. Children can think about subjects they enjoy, things they find challenging, and something new they would like to learn during the year.
All About Me Activities for Birthday Parties
Here’s another place these printables can come in handy: birthday parties.
If you have a group of children arriving at slightly different times, having a quiet activity ready can save you from that awkward waiting period before the main games begin.
Set up a little table with All About Me or coloring pages and plenty of crayons and pencils. Kids can start working on them as they arrive. You could also turn the answers into a party game later. Read a few fun facts aloud and have everyone guess which guest wrote them. Just make sure you choose answers that are fun and comfortable to share.
Church Groups, Clubs and Kids’ Activities
Any time you bring together a group of children who may not know each other well, getting-to-know-you activities can help.
All About Me worksheets can work for Sunday school, youth groups, Scouts, sports teams, vacation programs, after-school clubs, and community groups.
Instead of putting kids on the spot and asking everyone to introduce themselves in front of a room, give them time to complete a page first.
Once they have had a chance to think, sharing usually feels much easier.
Have the Whole Family Join In
Why should kids get all the fun?
Print an All About Me page for everyone in the family and make it a family night activity. Mom, Dad, grandparents, teens, and kids can all fill one out.
Then compare answers.
You might think you know everything about the people you live with, but these activities have a funny way of starting conversations you wouldn’t normally have.
- What did Grandma want to be when she grew up?
- What is Dad’s favorite dessert?
- What is Mom really good at?
- What would your teenager do if they could spend an entire day doing anything they wanted?
Suddenly a simple printable has everyone chatting.
Turn It Into a Time Capsule
Want to take your yearly All About Me tradition one step further?
Create a mini time capsule.
Along with the completed worksheet, add a current photograph, a drawing, a short letter from your child, and a few notes about things they currently love.
You could include their favorite song, book, movie, game, food, hobby, and funniest saying.
Put everything into an envelope marked with their name, age, and year. Imagine opening several of these together when your child graduates from high school! I can almost guarantee there will be plenty of laughing and probably a few “I can’t believe I said that!” moments.
Let Kids Be Completely Themselves
The best thing about an All About Me activity is that there really are no wrong answers.
- Kids don’t need to have one favorite color.
- They don’t have to know exactly what they want to be when they grow up.
- Their goals don’t have to be serious or impressive.
- And they certainly don’t need perfect handwriting.
- Let them answer in their own way.
If you’re a teacher, these little details can help you understand the children in your classroom. If you’re a parent, they give you another glimpse into what your child is thinking and loving at this exact stage of life.
A Simple Activity You’ll Be Glad You Saved
Back-to-school season can be busy. There are supplies to buy, routines to restart, calendars to organize, and a million little things to remember.
An All About Me printable is one of those wonderfully easy activities that doesn’t add much work to your day.
Print it, hand over the pencils or crayons, and let the kids take it from there.
Use an All About Me Questionnaire for a fun getting-to-know-you activity, an All About Me Page for the first day of school, or All About Me Reflection Worksheets when you want children to think a little more about their goals and experiences.
And when kids would rather color than write, these All About Me coloring pages are another fun option.
Use them for school, homeschool, family night, clubs, parties, or simply as a yearly keepsake. Then make sure you write the date on them before you put them away.
Because a few years from now, when you find that old worksheet and discover your child once listed “professional unicorn trainer” as their dream job, you’ll be very glad you kept it.
