How to Make DIY Face Mask Using Reusable Grocery Bags?
- Wash the grocery bags first
- Cut the side from the grocery bag so it lays flat, you can use a chalk marker to draw cutting lines
- Cut into 2 sheets
- measure and cut one of the sheets 8″x9″
- Measure and cut the other sheet 8″x9″
- Repeat with the bottom of the bag
- The you have 3 sheets put on top of each other and fold about a 1/2″ pin then do same to other side
- Hand sew or use a machine and sew the sides you have folded
- Fold the third side and sew
- Get two pipe cleaners and twist together (these will be your nose shapers)
- lay on the forth side and then fold over material, then sew
- Make three pleats and sew
- Add straps, that can be bag handles, elastic or other material that’s 12″ long like shoe laces
- place and sew
- Watch and learn from this video. I would personally use my sewing machine but if you do not have on then this is a great option for you
